Get your beautiful skin by eating 2011

A balanced diet is an essential prescription for healthy and vibrant skin. The good news is that the foods that happen to be good for your skin are also good for your overall health. Many people find that the appearance of aging skin --- wrinkles, thickening, discoloration, and decreased elasticity --- is one of their biggest beauty concerns. While genetics largely determines when your skin starts to show these signs of aging, and the extent to which it shows them, environment damage to your skin, as well as damage you cause yourself through lifestyle choices, can greatly accelerate this process.

Skin damage occurs as a result of oxidation, a chemical process in which unstable molecules called free radicals steal electrons from healthy cells. The most damaging oxidative stressors that we expose ourselves to are smoking and sunlight.

Vegetarianism: changing to flexitarians?

Posted by mm2010 in vegetarianism , meat , flexitarians , dieting

Vegetarianism generally is not something that is well received by many meat lovers. With more health concerns on the rise, more meat-eaters are becoming a new variation of vegetarian—flexitarian.

A flexitarian, a person who limits their in take of meat, poultry and or fish products will allow them self to eat meat when no vegetarian food options are available. To me, this seems overly convenient for flexitarians.

Is Weight Loss Worth It

Weight Loss

Is losing weight really worth the effort. In a weight obsessed world so many people these days look for ways to loose weight but wouldn't it be easier if we were all just fat. Being fat is unhealthy but at the same time its enjoyable. Food is fun and brings happiness and joy to the mouths it enters. We all love to eat, we eat carbs, we eat meats, fruits, vegetables, candies, deserts, and much more. Who actually wants to diet? Dieting is restricting your body of natural foods and enzymes that make up the food kingdom and help to make us better people. We all strive to be happy in our lives and eating will make you happy, its guaranteed, like if you drink alcohol your going to get drunk it s a GUARANTEE. When people tell you dieting helps lower the risk of diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood sugar etc. their most likely just kidding, not in all situations some situations their being honest and direct with you but most scenarios their just trying to get you to laugh. So next time you roll into a McDonalds don't feel guilty order what you want and don't let society tell you who to be and what to weigh. If eating makes you happy then just do it don't worry about the consequences you only live once dont live with the regret of being skinny and never eating and experiencing all the different foods life has to offer.
