One word; Resveratrol It’s foind in red wines, specifically Pinot Noir Studies show (2003) that resveratrol has expanded the life span of worms, fruit flies and mice. It also counteracted the effects of high-fat diets in mice and has been proven to increase metabolism. (1997) prevents skin cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, Leukemia, and gastrointestinal tract tumors. Not only does red wine help you live forever, but it also reduces the risk of heart disease, Alzheimer’s, boosts memory, lowers bad cholesterol levels and has the power of antioxidants. So the trick to staying young is to grab your girl friends, grab your guy friends drink wine and enjoy each other’s company. If you don't already drink alcohol, there's no need to start: you can take resveratrol supplements (which would arguably provide a more consistent, higher dosage of concentrated resveratrol than one would derive from a glass or two of Pinot, and without the alcohol), and there is also some resveratrol present in other foods such as peanuts, regular red grapes, pommegranates and other foods.
